GameShowHub browser privacy

Updated October 4, 2026. This page describes the solo browser experience. Native apps, creator tools, and legacy group-hosting features are separate services; contact [email protected] for their applicable privacy information.

Playing an episode

No account is required. The default episode keeps answers, points, and question review in the current page. These local results are not uploaded for persistence, rankings, or rewards. Refreshing or leaving starts a new episode. Server-scored accessible mode sends gameplay choices to the server to run that episode; disconnecting requires a restart.

Browser storage and downloads

We save your selected avatar and display/sound preferences in browser storage when available. Essential cookies protect requests against forgery. Enhanced speech downloads approximately 43 MiB of voice assets, with additional runtime files, and caches assets for reuse. Studio and site assets can also be cached. Clearing site data removes saved preferences and cached assets; blocked storage uses temporary defaults.

Usage analytics and diagnostics

Pages load Google Analytics for usage measurement. Google may process cookies, browser/device information, network information, page locations, and interactions according to its service settings and privacy policy. Our custom beta gameplay events contain mode, phase, event/error code, and round where applicable; they exclude scores, answers, player names, and question text. Browser privacy controls and the Google Analytics opt-out tool can limit analytics.

Our application diagnostic journal stores fixed event/error codes, mode, phase, release version, and time for up to 14 days. It is bounded and does not record screens or keystrokes. Web hosting, network providers, and third-party services may separately process connection information such as IP addresses and request URLs under their own retention settings.

External services

Production pages can load OneSignal notification services. Browser notification permission is your choice and can be revoked in browser settings; see OneSignal's privacy policy. Fonts, styles, voice assets, and images can load from external hosting services including Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Hugging Face, and our asset host. Those requests expose connection information to the destination. Embedded video, where present, loads from YouTube.

Reports, copying, and sharing

Question reports open your email application with a public show link and question reference. You decide whether to send. Feedback you email is handled through our support mailbox. Result copying and sharing use your selected browser action; social links open the destination service, whose privacy terms apply. A local result remains unverified even when shared.
